Dennis Wilken
Riding; Falling
Fell off the horse
And was dragged
Out of one life
And into another -
A drooling disaster
Crabbed into a broken body,
Brains leaked out
Through a gaping hole
In the back;
Sitting, fading,
Gibberish his only speech
Confusion, a constant companion,
One fall
From heaven to hell.
