Being naked by yourself
is good for the soul:
drinking coffee, reading,
balancing your checkbook
naked -- the hand
resting casually on your thigh,
the brush of fingers
on neck or brow,
the pencil tip inside
your bellybutton --
makes you bolder than you are.
